Healing Light Yoga is a powerful energy healing modality that integrates the body, the breath and pure consciousness.  It is an opportunity to deepen your experience of your physical self, to see firsthand how the breath, intention and intuition heals,  and to explore and release deeply held patterns and blocks from the cellular memory.  It’s not yoga in a modern sense, but a practice of integrated light and energy work that invited healing on the deepest levels and layers of being.

Who Can Take Healing Light Yoga?

Healing Light Yoga Is for Every Body.  The powerful transformations that occur in this class are done in comfortable and supported positions that are held for a longer period of time.  If the body doesn’t feel like it can naturally be in that position, there are modifications given, or you can just lie down.  The most important part of the practice is the breath, and the subtle energy techniques that surpass the boundaries of the physical body.  There is no prior yoga experience necessary.

Healing Light Yoga Series 1 – Energize Your Life

In this first series, ENERGIZE YOUR LIFE – The Foundational Keys to Healing, you will discover ancient secrets of vitality, longevity, and healing from the inside out. Healing Light Yoga Therapy utilizes our consciousness (pure awareness) and the power of subtle intention to create balance on the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, karmic, and spiritual levels of life. You will learn a unique type of breathing, called the Healing Breath, that, when combined with specific yoga postures, removes blocks that cause imbalance and disease. This practice is very subtle yet extremely powerful, as it helps us to come to know and release that which stands in the way of realizing our full potential.


Healing Light Yoga Series 2 – Embracing Emotions, Emotional Flow, And Emotional Clearing

Emotional healing often precedes physical healing, as it is on this level of life that much of dis-ease originates. Learning how to unwind tightly held emotional experiences from our emotional bodies paves the way to emotional freedom… and greater happiness, joy, and ease. This second series of Healing Light Yoga Therapy focuses on creating happiness through embracing, flowing, and clearing emotions.

In this six-week course, the basic principles and techniques from Series 1 will be applied, along with additional techniques of Chakra clearing and balancing, and the use of sacred symbols. By healing the emotional body we tap into our ability to experience bliss, gratitude and contentment in everyday life. Healing Light Yoga Series 3 – Balance Your Life – Creating Change With The Fundamental Elements Of Ayurveda

While many of us are familiar with the Ayurvedic Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), the power of the fundamental elements (Mahabhutas) that make up the Doshas is often overlooked. We do not need to rely only on external influences, such as herbs or diet, to promote internal balance or catalyze powerful shifts in our lives. In this series, you will learn how to recognize what is out of balance, and how to use the energy of the elements (Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth) as your inner resources for healing – for example, how we use Fire energy for motivation or Earth energy for grounding. Using the ancient knowledge of the Mahabhutas, coupled with the practice of Healing Light Yoga Therapy, you can experience balance in every aspect of your life.


Healing Light Yoga Series 4-Releasing Habits, Addictions and Attachments – Using Subtle Movement to Enhance Flow and Release

We all have struggled with overcoming habits, addictions and attachments. These habits become deeply engrained in our subconscious mind and in the energies of the chakras. Healing Light Yoga Therapy has techniques to free up the energies that bind us to the habits and make it harder to change and transform. It also enables a deep relaxation from which the binding influence of the habit can be loosened from the subconscious mind.  We are offering the next advancement in Healing Light Yoga Therapy that utilizes techniques to enhance the flow of energy through the chakras through subtle movement. Enhanced flow means enhanced purification and release of old habits, addictions and attachment.

Healing Light Yoga Series 5 – Connecting With The Light –  Experience The Power Of Subtle Energy Visualization And Surrender To Deep Healing Rest

This 6-week session is an invitation to explore the deep essence of your being through breath, visualization and yoga.  It is a journey into the experience of subtle energy and how it feels in your body.  It is an opportunity to work with the power of your being through visualization, as you enlighten and enliven yourself with energy.  Working with energy flows we will infuse the muscles, cells, and chakras with the healing power of consciousness.  Most of all, we will embrace the deep peace of surrender, as we open to the more subtle aspects of consciousness and let go and relax into deep rest.  It is here in the deep peace where the true depth of the practice is experienced through release, manifestation, healing and surrender.


Healing Light Yoga Therapy – Series 6 Healing with Marmas

Marma points are essentially smaller Chakras.  Just as Chakras have certain functions and energies that they conduct, so too do Marmas. In fact, the Chakras are called the Mahamarmas in Ayurveda. “Maha” means “great,” so the Chakras are the great Marmas and the points we will be using to promote balance and healing are the lesser Marmas.  Just as we use the breath, visualization and subtle movement and consciousness to clear blocks and shift the balance in the Chakras, this six-week course will teach how to use the stimulation of Marmas to do the same. You will learn to combine Marmas with the Healing Light Yoga postures to produce a more profound clearing, balancing and healing effect. Using subtle pressure on the Marma points not only stimulates the flow of energy, it can bring our consciousness to the area and alter the balance of the Doshas creating a powerful healing effect. We invite you to explore this addition to the Healing Light Yoga practice and discover this addition of Ayurvedic wisdom to your Yoga practice.


Healing Light Yoga Therapy Series 7 – Healing with Higher Energies

In the past Healing Light Yoga series we have explored the healing power of subtle awareness and the power of mantra when taken to the subtlest level.  We have begun to develop the ability to sense energy in the Chakras and in the subtle aspects of the Healing Breath. In this final series we will explore the subtle energy around you, and the healing power that comes with these energies. Some refer to these energies as guides and some as angels. Regardless of other’s concepts, they are palpable if we develop our awareness. With this awareness we discover the incredible nature of these energies which are bold in both their healing power and their transmission of love. In this 7th Series of Healing Light Yoga, we will use the messengers of love and the subtle energy in our nearby environment to assist us in balancing the Chakras and creating healing in our physiologies.
